KDS Training Philosophy

Here at KDS School of Self Reliance we pride ourselves on keeping all of our courses as streamed lined and simplified as possible in order to maximize your training retention so that you are able to implement theses new skill sets if you are ever faced with a real world survival scenario.

The KDS training philosophy that is applied to all of the courses offered by our school are simple; influenced by Brian’s many years working as a master trainer in the US Army Special Forces and it consists of the following key attributes:

1.Train smarter not harder

2. The path to improvement is proper technique and repetition.

3. Crawl, walk, run.

4. Training:Time Ratio of 1/3 class instruction : 2/3 practical exercise

5. Train to standard NOT to time.

6. Preparation Pays!

7. Keep it simple!
